Managed Monitoring
Power BI & Fabric
Let Power Tuning proactively monitor your environment 24/7. Our team of specialists acts before issues impact your users — with guaranteed SLA, full action logs, and Power Monitor already included.
What is covered
The monitoring covers critical infrastructure alerts detected by Power Monitor, related to the operation of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
Gateway offline or connectivity failure
We monitor the availability of on-premises data gateways and act immediately to restore connectivity and investigate the root cause.
Data refresh failure
We identify failures in dataset and dataflow refreshes, investigate root causes, and act to restore the data ingestion process.
Notebook execution failure
We monitor Microsoft Fabric notebook runs and act when there are recurring errors, timeouts, or critical processing failures.
Data pipeline failure
We monitor data pipelines and respond to critical failures that interrupt the data processing and delivery chain.
Capacity approaching the limit
Preventive alerts when Microsoft Fabric capacity reaches usage levels that may impact end-user performance.
Capacity reached maximum usage
Immediate action when capacity is at 100% utilization, preventing service interruption and direct impact on end users.
Capacity turned off or suspended
We monitor the status of Fabric capacities and act promptly in cases of unexpected shutdown, minimizing downtime.
Other monitored alerts
Any other critical infrastructure alerts detected by Power Monitor that require immediate attention to preserve environment availability.
Plans by environment size
The monthly fee is calculated by the number of monitored artifacts in your tenant. Power Monitor is already included — no additional cost for the tool.

How remediation billing works
Each plan includes a minimum monthly package of remediation hours. If the volume of incidents exceeds the included minimum, additional hours are billed separately with full transparency.
Rate per hour
- Minimum of 30 minutes for simple, targeted responses.
- Complex fixes are billed based on the time actually used for resolution.
- Every hour worked is logged and reported to the client with a detailed description of the activity performed.
Control & flexibility
- The client can set a monthly hour cap for remediation work, maintaining full budget control.
- Flexibility to negotiate alert criticality thresholds for proactive action, tailored to the environment's profile.
- No hour is used without prior client notification — complete visibility before any action is taken.
- Monthly consolidated hour report available for internal reporting and auditing.
- Included minimum hours work as an hour bank: unused hours accumulate for up to 6 months and roll over to the following month.
- The client decides whether to monitor the entire environment or filter only the critical workspaces for monitoring and response.
What is and is not covered
Managed monitoring covers only infrastructure alerts detected by Power Monitor. See below what is inside and outside the scope.
Outside the monitoring scope
- Incorrect data errors in reports
- Improvements and enhancements to existing reports
- Creation of new reports or dashboards
- Query performance optimization (DAX, SQL, M)
- Capacity consumption reduction via optimization
- Pipeline, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse development
- DevOps and CI/CD implementation for data
Can I contract these separately?
Yes! Power Tuning offers complementary services to cover all development and improvement needs for your environment:
- Standalone projects — for specific, well-defined needs with closed scope and timeline.
- Monthly development support — hour bank for ongoing needs: Power BI reports, DAX, M, pipelines, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, DevOps and CI/CD.
- Report optimization — reduce Fabric capacity consumption and improve visual and semantic model performance.
